Deleting packages from a container

To remove out-of-date software from a container, delete the relevant software package.

Deleting packages cannot be undone. Before deleting, check if the relevant package is part of any image definition file (.idf). To restore packages that have been deleted accidentally, import the package once again.

1. In ELIAS, open the relevant container.

2. Select the software package you want to delete.

3. Press DEL.

4. Confirm the message with Yes.
