By using the storage location Database when you create a new report, you allow all authorized Scout administrators to use and edit a report definition.
Reports saved to the database can also be run in Scout Dashboard. Access to the reports in the Dashboard is configured in the Scout Console.
In contrast, any report defined with the option Local is only available in the local user directory of the creator.
Use the Save as... feature to save locally defined reports to the database and make them available to other administrators.
Required administrator rights
Administrators with the menu right View > Report generator are authorized to run database reports.
Administrators with the base right Create, edit and delete database reports are authorized to edit database reports.
Administrators with the base right Allow local reports are authorized to run and edit local reports.
