Managing certificates

For firmware updates, you can specify that the signatures of the eLux software packages and/or the signature of the image will be verified.1 see Device configuration in the Scout guide Both certificate types can be managed in ELIAS 18:

• Package validation certificates

  The current certificates for our software packages are automatically imported with the ELIAS installation. Newer certificates can be downloaded and imported from our portal.

• Image signing certificate

  To sign an image with a private signature certificate, you first need to create a code signing certificate. Then, you import the certificate into the container.
