Network tab

Depending on the installed image and the hardware used, users can use different network connections. In the Scout Console, you define network profiles for different network types. The user can then choose from the defined network connections on the system bar.

The following network profiles are available:

• LAN (only one profile, cannot be deleted)
• Wireless LAN
• Mobile Internet (Wireless Wide Area Network)
• VPN1 from Scout Enterprise Management Suite 15 2101 For earlier versions, see VPN in the Advanced device configuration.

To create VPN nework profiles, use the Advanced device configuration for individual devices. For further information, see VPN.
